About us
In 2008, Melanie's mum was diagnosed with cancer and lost all her hair through chemotherapy treatment and had to wear wigs. She found the experience of wig hunting and buying very difficult. Fortunately, Melanie's mum is now doing well but her wig experience prompted Melanie to research the wig Industry and products and services on offer and open Parrucche to offer a more unique luxurious and less-stressful experience to adults and children who have suffered hair loss through illness.
However, recognising that there are many reasons for requiring a wig or hairpiece – hair loss, a change of look, bridal hairdo, hair for holiday – Parrucche's focus is on ensuring that every customer leave's us feeling pampered and with a quality product.
